Teutopolis High School student Emily Zumbahlen has been named the winner of the Congressional Art Competition.
Emily, the daughter of Mike and Cindy Zumbahlen, was honored by Congressman Mike Bost with the win for her painting, “Splashing into Serenity”. The painting of a quiet moment in the countryside will now hang in the halls of Congress for the next year. In addition, Emily and her parents received a tour of the Capitol.
