Cumberland County board members Tuesday amended the county’s wind ordinance.
The changes involved adding a fee and a requirement regarding liability insurance coverage.
The Board also approved a BESS, or battery energy storage system, ordinance.
Board members approved the appointment of Kayla Sponsel as a trustee of the Toledo Fire Protection District to fill a vacancy, and decided to again seek bids on landscape removal at the courthouse in Toledo.
The Board reappointed Ed Blade, Nicholas Watkins and Adree Venatta to three-year terms on the Board of Health, and appointed Lucas Watkins to a Special Service Area Commission for Area 2. The Board also created Special Service Areas 4 and 5, mainly involving Spring Point Township and the Neoga and Toledo ambulance districts.
