Cumberland school board members updated authorization for two new administrators.

One is Darrell Houchin, who will become Cumberland Superintendent on July 1 after a number of years in the East Richland school district. The other is Andrew Glosser, who will become Cumberland grade school principal on July 1 after working as assistant grade school principal at Robinson.

Houchin will succeed the retiring Todd Butler, while Glosser will replace Stacy Keyser, who resigned earlier in the school year  as of June 30.

The Cumberland board approved two ADA sidewalk projects, one from the outside athletic facility entrance to the track home spectator area, the other from the senior parking lot to the north high school main entrance.

Board members employed Ciara Roepke as middle school assistant girls basketball coach; accepted the resignation of Missie Briggs as teacher and yearbook sponsor; assigned Amanda Houchin as middle school Social Studies teacher; and accepted Brittany Gilbert’s resignation as high school head softball coach.
