The 97th Annual Illinois FFA State Convention opened today in Springfield.
A reminder that an Illinoisan, Thaddeus Bergschneider, is serving as National FFA President and will be delivering the keynote address during the second general session today.
The convention will also be special for Brody Will of rural Teutopolis, who is serving as Illinois FFA State Vice President. Brody is a 2023 Dieterich High School graduate where his FFA advisor and agriculture teacher was Garrett Helregel. Brody is the son of Duane and Kristy Will and is brother of two siblings, Dalton and Kinley. He showed dairy cattle.
After completing a year at Lake Land College, Brody next plans to attend Oklahoma State University to study Agriculture Business.
