Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash west of Dieterich Saturday night.
Illinois State Police report the crash happened on Illinois Route 33 at 2100th Street just before 11pm.
A southbound car reportedly disregarded a stop sign and continued into the intersection and onto the highway. The driver of a pickup truck was unable to slow down and struck the car.
The driver of the car and a passenger and the driver of the pickup truck were all injured and were transported to an area hospital.
Route 33 was closed due to the crash and was re-opened at 12:20 Sunday morning.
