 Noon Rotary Learns of the History of Premier Broadcasting

Effingham Noon Rotarians learned about the history of Premier Broadcasting, the company started by Noon Rotarian Dave Ring that spawned Classic Hits 97.9 WXEF and KJ Country 102.3, WKJT. Dave shared the history of how he became involved in radio and started the stations. Tonya Siner and Greg Sapp, also members of Noon Rotary, talked about their roles at the stations as Vice-President of Operations and as Station Manager, respectively. George “Flex” Flexter also took part as Program Director for the stations and shared some of the technical end of the operation. Bob Schultz served as Rotary weekly program chairman.
