The scholarship recipients are selected each year based upon the following criteria: scholastic ability; extra-curricular activities; community involvement; honors and awards; and an essay. For this year’s essay topic, students were asked to explain how this quote by Winston Churchill applies to their life: “Success is not final; failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.”
