Stewardson-Strasburg school board members voted to hire Kennedy Ferris as athletic director per the Stew-Stras Education Association collective bargaining agreement.
The Board also hired Bethany Theis and Rebecca Viverito as elementary teachers; hired Jaimie Brown as paraprofessional; re-hired Mitch Martin as JV boys basketball coach and Drevonte Hill as fresh/soph boys basketball coach; accepted the resignation of Jeremy and Jason Pruemer as assistant fifth and sixth basketball coach; and re-hired Jared Smith as head fifth and sixth grade basketball coach.
The Stew-Stras board discussed the amended fiscal year budget; discussed a roof project for summer 2026; and discussed future baseball and fence projects.
