My Reason to Run 1-Mile, 5k, 10k Run – For Stroke Rehabilitation

The second annual My Reason to Run Fundraiser is back to help fund a crucial part of Britney Walter-Chester’s recovery. The race starts at 8:30 am on Saturday, May 24 at St. Anthony High School.
In 2022, Britney survived leukemia, but suffered a stroke that left her with a paralyzed arm and basically no use of her hand. She’s been working hard to regain function with the help of a specialized medical device, but insurance delays and an unexpected increase in the cost have made it difficult to access.
This race is a way of raising the funds needed to move forward. If insurance ends up covering part of the cost, then extra funds will be donated to someone else in need.
