Club Maverick Memory Cafe
The Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library will host the monthly meeting of the Club Maverick Memory Café from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, August 5.
This month, Chet Kiefer from Camp Lakewood Campground will discuss the campground business and the activities available for campers. Also, Kiefer will share samples from Fatso’s Famous Pizza with participants.
The group, for those who face cognitive impairment such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, or other neurological disorders and their care partner, meets the first Tuesday of every month at the library. The gathering offers participants a chance to socialize and connect with others.
No registration is required and a library card also is not necessary to attend.
