Boys Golf:
The Effingham Hearts won the Apollo Conference championship for the first time since 2013 winning the Apollo Conference Golf Tournament with a season low 305 at South Side Country Club in Mt. Zion.

Tied for the overall top spot Hearts Seniors Jude Traub and Leo Wyckoff went on to a sudden death playoff, and Jude Traub came out victorious. Both were named to the All Apollo Conference Team.
St. Anthony Boys Golf hosted the St. Anthony Match Play Event at Effingham Country Club Monday.
St. Anthony #1 bested the 8 team field with 7 points, followed closely by Teutopolis with 6.5 points. Benton was third with 6, Red Hill 4, Olney 3, Alton-Marquette 2.5, Massac County 2, and St. Anthony #2 rounded out the field with 1 point.
Altamont hosted Sullivan and Arcola at St. Elmo Golf Course. Arcola got the win with a 164. Altamont followed with a 168 and Sullivan shot a 181.
The Match Medalist was Kole Binder of Arcola with a 39. The Match Medalist Runner Up was Mason Schaub of Altamont with a 40.
Girls Golf:
The St. Anthony High School girls golf held their annual Invite at Cardinal Golf club.
St. Anthony finished in first with a 167. Teutopolis was second with a 201, followed by Olney 210, Tolono Unity 229, and Altamont 252.

– Adria Mobery (STA), 42, 3rd place

Effingham finished third as a team at Mattoon Meadowview Golf Course at the Apollo Conference meet behind conference winner Mahomet-Seymour and Mattoon.
Effingham Senior, Gieah Schlanser was named All-Apollo Conference with a tie for fifth shooting a 97 on the day.
