TAYLORVILLE — Effingham High School won a quadrangular boys golf meet at Lakeshore Golf Course Wednesday.
The Hearts tallied a 156 followed by Mount Zion 176, Taylorville 192 and Shelbyville 210.
Jude Traub finished with a 36 followed by Gage Kinder 38, Leo Wyckoff 39, Carter Braddy 43, Owen Nuxoll 45 and Jake Niebrugge 46.
At Effingham
St. Anthony celebrated Senior Night with a 150-170 boys victory over Tuscola at the Effingham Country Club.
Logan Gowin was medalist with a 34 followed by Briggs Whitley 36, Liam McAllaster 38 and Daniel Ramos 42.
Non-counters were Andrew Meyer 42 and Cole Adams 44. Also competing but not counting in the team scores were Grayson Bloemer 36, Derek Hann 54 and Marcus Geen 55.
Tuscola golfers were Evan Englehardt 40, Nixon Steinert 42, Lawson Kurtz 44, Severin Steinert 44, Brix Smith 48 and Lane McCall 51. Also competing but not counting in the team scores were Korey Clodfelder 48, Jaxon Franklin 53 and Tyler Franklin 59.
At Effingham
The St. Anthony Girls Invitational was held at the Effingham Country Club.
The Bulldogs finished with a team score of 163. Brooklyn Phillips was medalist with a 37. Also competing were Adria Moberly 39, Gianna Frisbie 43, Tenley Sams 44, Liza Kuhns 53 and Lucy Bierman 59.
Junior varsity scorers were Alex Conant 52, Lauren Myers 53 and Lydia Fearday 65.
