CASEY — Teutopolis High School won a boys golf meet Thursday.
The Wooden Shoes tallied 152 followed by Casey-Westfield 158, Newton 170 and Windsor 185.
Match medalist was Isaac Weber with a 35. Other Teutopolis scorers were Owen Kremer 36, Kade Pennington 38 and Mathew Habing, Eli Weber and Jack Weber with a 43 each.
Individuals were Lane Ohnesorge 38, Ben Sandschafer 45 and Sam Probst 48. The Shoes are now 7-0 on the season.
Newton’s scoring were Jack James 38, Jacob Oldham 42, Jacob Ferguson 42, Nolan Cleaver 43, Blaine Bergbower 47, Ajay McCann 49, Beau Bennett 52 and Bently Gorrell 55.
Windsor players were Blake Owens 42, Jacob Vonderheide 44, Brady Wallin 47, Briar Rincker 51, Logan Corrie 54 and Joe Holland 59.
The Shoes are back in action Saturday at the Carlyle Invitational.
At Flora
Effingham St. Anthony was a winner at the Flora Country Club Thursday.
The Bulldogs junior varsity game won with 157 while Flora had a 175.
Competing for the Bulldogs were Grayson Bloemer 36, Charlie Hoene 39, Daniel Ramos 41, Anthony Brummer 41, Andrew Meyer 45 and Marcus Geen 53.
St. Anthony extra were Keegan Overbeck 53, Derek Hann 61 and Zaden Page 62.
Scoring for Flora were Rayce McCrory 43, Tyler Earnest 43, Noah Patterson 44, Peyton Herman 45, Carter Spritzner 47 and Braxton Oestreich 47.
Flora extra were Brady Lusk 44, Memphis Lindeman 48, Brayden Masters 49 and Landen Murbarger 49.
