Teutopolis was a winner over Effingham in girls golf competition Tuesday.
The Wooden Shoes won the match, 197-216.
Co-medalists for the meet were T-town’s Brooke Thoele and Effingham’s Allison Kroenlein with a 46 each.
Also scoring for the winning Wooden Shoes were Thoele, Brianna Niebrugge 49, Josie Willenborg 51 and Ellie Hoene 51.
Non-counting scores were Ella Hemmen 54, Kegyn Runde 54, Tinley Niebrugge 58 and Emma Westendorf 65.
Scoring for the Hearts, along with Kroenlein were Gieah Schlanser 52, Emily Lowe 56 and Kennedy Tolliver 62. Non-counter was Sophie Niebrugge 64.
At St. Elmo
In a junior varsity boys match, Effingham St. Anthony handed Altamont a 168-203 loss at the St. Elmo Country Club Tuesday.
St. Anthony’s Grayson Bloemer was medalist with a 37. Also scoring for the Bulldogs were Charlie Hoene 42, Daniel Ramos 43 and Anthony Brummer 46. Non-counters were Eric Utz 50 and Marcus Geen 56.
Extra players were Keegan Overbeck 51, Zaden Page 57 and Derek Hann 60.
Scoring for Altamont were Cooper McManaway 42, Riley Scholes 51, Carter Boehm 51 and Grant Suckow 59. Non-counters were Henry Grasher 61 and Gunner Casey 63.
