The Ann Crooker St. Clair Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution have posted signs on the lawn of the historic courthouse to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The signs bear the names of those who have significant ties to the Revolutionary War and are related to members of the chapter. They will be posted on the Courthouse lawn until July 7, then will be moved to Beecher City to their library, then will be transferred to the triangle in downtown Altamont.
