Effingham native and attorney Sean M. Sandifer will travel to Washington, D.C. next week to be formally admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, granting him the ability to practice before the nation’s highest court.

Sandifer, 29, is the founder of Sean Sandifer Law, PLLC, a Tampa Bay-based law firm which specializes in business litigation, real estate matters, and business transactions. Sandifer is licensed to practice law in Florida, Illinois, and Missouri, and also practices in several courts of federal jurisdiction.

A graduate of Effingham High School, Sandifer earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance with High Honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, before attending Saint Louis University School of Law on a full-tuition scholarship through the school’s prestigious “1843 Scholars” program, which recognizes a select group of incoming students for outstanding academic achievement and personal merit. Following law school, Sandifer relocated to Florida, where he quickly established himself in private practice representing businesses, property owners, entrepreneurs, and individuals in complex disputes and transactions. Sandifer is the son of Sara Sandifer and George Sandifer, and the grandson of Judy Wendling and the late Paul Wendling (founder of the Effingham-based trucking company, Direct Lines, Inc.).

Sandifer credits his professional growth and success to his faith, the values instilled by his family and upbringing in Effingham, and the mentors and professional relationships that have guided him throughout his career. “I truly believe God directs my steps and has opened doors for me throughout my life and career. I want my life to be an example of God’s goodness- when you go through trouble and difficulty, when the odds look bleak…have faith that God is an ever-present help…He is arranging things in your favor.” Sandifer continues, “I’ve been blessed with incredible mentors, friendships, clients, and opportunities along the way. Effingham taught me the value of relationships, hard work, and treating people the right way, and those are values I carry with me every day.”

In Florida, Sandifer has developed strong ties within the real estate and business communities through his work with attorneys, entrepreneurs, and professionals, including connections with Keller Williams St. Pete, one of Tampa Bay’s most prominent real estate brokerages. KW St. Pete produced more than $780,000,000 ($780M) in total sales volume in 2025.

In addition to his law practice, Sandifer is also the host of “The Sean Sandifer Show,” a podcast focused on law, culture, business, and current events. Season V of The Sean Sandifer Show podcast is expected to release within the next couple of months.

Sandifer, who has been an attorney since 2022, has continued expanding his practice across multiple jurisdictions while building a modern, client-focused law firm serving clients throughout Florida and beyond. A recent new homeowner, Sandifer is taking time to take it all in and enjoy a social, active lifestyle in beautiful St. Petersburg, FL. Looking ahead, Sandifer intends to remain engaged in law, business, and media, as well as take an active role in matters of public policy.

“I’ve always believed life is meant to be lived proactively, not passively,” Sandifer said. “I want to be an active participant in the world around me – whether through my law practice, business, media, or public affairs — while still enjoying the journey and appreciating how far I’ve already come.”

Admission to the Supreme Court Bar allows attorneys to practice before the nation’s highest court. The formal admission ceremony takes place inside the Supreme Court building in Washington, D.C., and requires sponsorship from current members of the Supreme Court Bar.
