RAMSEY — Brownstown/St. Elmo blanked Ramsey/Mulberry Grove by a 12-0 count Friday in high school baseball.
BSE moved into a 4-0 opening inning lead then had single runs in the second and fourth and finished the game via the 10-run rule with six in the fifth.
Zayden Gillespie tossed a one-hitter with eight strikeouts. He gave up only two walks.
The Bombers finished with nine hits led by Keelan Speagle with two singles and a double. Logan Lach added a double and had five RBI. Calvin Voelker had a double while Lucas Powell, Nolan Wilhour and Jayden Hughett had a single and an RBI each. Gillespie added an RBI.
In Saturday action, Brownstown/St. Elmo was a 5-3 winner over Wayne City.
The Bombers moved ahead 2-0 in the first inning.
Voelker had a single, double and an RBI. Bentley Sanders and Lach added a single each while Sanders had an RBI. Powell, Raidon Beccue and Hughett finished with an RBI each.
Speagle picked up the pitching victory, allowing six hits, three walks while striking out six. Voelker came on in the final inning to pick up a save with one strikeout.
Brownstown/St. Elmo is now 4-5 on the season and returns to action Tuesday at Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City.

Altamont stepped out to a 4-0 opening inning lead and went on to blank Mattoon 7-0 Friday.
The Indians finished with nine hits and were aided by four Mattoon errors.
Kade Milleville had three of the nine hits with two singles and a triple. Carson Milleville added two singles and an RBI while Reed Stuemke finished with two singles. Brayden Elam added a single and three RBI while Blake Berg had a single and an RBI.
K. Milleville picked up the pitching victory. He went all seven innings, giving up no runs on eight hits, no walks while striking out nine.

Teutopolis edged into a 2-0 lead in the second inning and claimed a 7-1 victory over Flora Friday.
The Wooden Shoes had only three hits. Jason Kreke had a double and an RBI while Gavin Addis had a single and an RBI.
Davin Worman tossed a four-hitter, giving up two walks while striking out eight. He allowed four runs.
Hayden Tebbe came on to finish the final inning with two strikeouts.
T-town is now 9-1 on the season.
In a freshman/sophomore contest at Mount Zion, the two teams played to a 10-10 tie.
T-town had 10 hits led by Luke Niebrugge with a single, triple and four RBI, Ozzie Pals with three singles, B. Schumacher with two singles and two RBI and Ozzie Pals with three singles.

The Eagles had eight hits in the contest led by David Ferguson with a double, home run and one RBI, Drake Wolf with a double and an RBI and Dominic Baltzell with two singles.
Eli Wolf went all seven innings. He gave up five hits, did not walk a batter and had six strikeouts.

Robinson took a 3-0 lead in the second inning and led 4-0 after three. But Cumberland started a comeback with a run in the fourth and tied in the top of the seventh.
But that didn’t last long as Robinson scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh for the 5-4 victory.
Cumberland finished with eight hits led by Grady Jones, Maddox Miller and Hudson McElravy with two singles each. Jones had two RBI and McElravy one. Adyn Heuerman added an RBI.
