The United Way of Effingham County Board of Directors have selected Washington Savings Bank as the 2025 Lead Pacesetter Company.
Board members said this was an easy decision as Washington Savings Bank has partnered with the United Way for 22 years, has raised over $51,000 and have been top level sponsors for many United Way events. Washington Savings Bank employees proudly show their belief in the United Way’s mission by participating in the Employee Campaign program, hosting various fundraisers in the workplace and by attending United Way events.
“We are truly honored to be recognized as the 2025 Lead Pacesetter Company by United Way of Effingham County,” said David Doedtman, President and CEO of Washington Savings Bank. “This recognition reflects our team’s commitment to supporting the United Way’s mission and making a positive difference in the lives of people right here in our community.”
