St. Elmo/Brownstown and Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City will be playing for the championship of the Egyptian-Illini Conference Volleyball Tournament after the Bobcats claimed two victories Tuesday evening.
In the opening contest, Ramsey defeated Patoka/Odin, 20-25, 25-15, 28-26.
CHBC then took the floor and won over Patoka/Odin, 25-19, 17-25, 25-9. Jalizah Bowlin led the team in kills with nine. Ryleigh Sarver had three aces. Gracie Wright led in assists with 19 and Allison Shields had 21 digs.
The Bobcats then came back for their second match of the evening and won over Ramsey. Ramsey took the opening set 25-11 but CHBC then went 25-18, 25-17 for the match.
CHBC was led by Bowlin with 10 kills, Shields with five aces, Wright with 25 assists and Timber Watson with 15 digs.
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City will now meet St. Elmo/Brownstown Thursday for the championship.
In the third place contest, Martinsville takes on Ramsey at 6:30. The fifth place contest will feature Mulberry Grove against Patoka/Odin at 5:30.

At Effingham
Effingham lost the opening varsity set to Mattoon 25-19 but came back with 25-19, 25-17 scores for the victory Tuesday evening in the last regular season match.
The Hearts were led by Mckenzie Love with 14 kills, five aces and two blocks, Berkley Pullen with 24 assists and Alyssa Martin with 11 digs.
EHS also claimed the junior varsity contest, 25-12, 25-20.
But Mattoon was a winner in freshman/sophomore match 25-15, 21-25, 17-15.
The Hearts will be back in action Tuesday, Oct. 28 in the Class 2A Effingham Regional against Effingham St. Anthony at 7 p.m.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis hosted Robinson for its final regular season match Tuesday during Senior Night.
The Wooden Shoes honored their three seniors, Ava Ruholl, Katie Horn and Madison Miller prior to the varsity match.
The Shoes then won 25-11, 25-19 to end the regular season with a 23-9 record. Post-season play begins Monday at Effingham with a 6 p.m. match against Vandalia.
Kaylie Jordan led the Shoes in assists with 28 and points with nine. Madison Miller and Alicen Niemerg had one block each. Ella Tarter had 11 digs. Marie Zumbahlen had 12 kills, nine digs and two aces. Clara Mette also had two aces.
T-town and Robinson split the freshman match. Robinson won the first set 25-22 and T-town claimed the second set 25-23.
T-town won the junior varsity match, 25-14, 25-22 and finishes the season with a 17-3 record.
At Teutopolis

The South Central Cougars defeated Richland County, Olney in three sets Tuesday.
The Cougars lost the opener 25-13 but came back with 25-15, 25-22 counts.
Mya Schaal led South Central with nine kills and three blocks. Addisyn Sigrist had 13 digs and Sophie Wodtka 12 assists. Zoey Feldhake and River Yingst had four aces each.
The varsity squad improved to 13-14 on the season.
The junior varsity squad won 28-26, 25-18 while the freshman/sophomore team won 25-8, 25-10. The junior varsity squad is 12-4 while the freshman/sophomore team ends at 13-0-1.

Altamont fell to Wayne City in three sets Tuesday evening.
Altamont won the opening set 29-27 but Wayne City came back with 25-22, 25-21 wins for the match.
Laila Hankins led Altamont in digs with 26 and blocks with six. Hope Roedl also had 26 digs. Riley Rippetoe and Bella Hollinshead had seven kills each. Avery Fleeharty had 13 assists. Fleeharty, Kimber Sphar and Hankins had one ace each.
At Altamont

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg won over Tuscola in varsity action Tuesday evening, 25-14, 25-13.
“The girls had another good win tonight,” said WSS Coach Ronda Schlechte. “They did a good job making some adjustments at the net. Mya Friese also pulled out a strong serving streak. They have looked more as a team the last few games which is huge going into post-season. We have a few more practices before the big game Saturday against the strong Decatur Unity team which I’m looking forward to.”
Mya Friese led in aces with seven, kills with nine and one solo block. Brinlie Durbin had 19 assists. Zaida Wascher and Kendra Hayes had four digs each. Zoey Conder had four block assists.
The Hatchets are 24-10 on the season. They will host Decatur Unity Saturday. The Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg Sportsbackers will present 50 years of excellence with recognition of all 50 Stew-Stras/Windsor/Stew-Stras volleyball teams in celebration of being named No. 16 in the IHSA top 50 volleyball programs.
The recognition will take place in between the junior varsity and varsity games at approximately 5:45 p.m.
In junior varsity play, Windsor/Stew-Stras won 25-13, 25-15 and is 16-3.
The freshman/sophomore team split, winning the opener 25-21 while Tuscola won the second set 27-25. The Hatchets are 8-7-5.
