TOMORROW'S STARS KHOURY LEAGUE

Scott Mosher Country Financial edged Heritage Builders 6-5 in league action at Community Park Monday evening.

Heritage Builders held a 2-0 lead until the bottom of the third when Scott Mosher tallied three runs and scored two in the fourth to lead 5-2. Heritage Builders clawed back into contention with three runs in the top of the fifth to knot the score at 5-5. But Mosher tallied the winning run in the bottom of the frame.

Joe Matteson pitched a four-hitter. Moeller had a single and double, Will two singles and two RBI and Briggerman a double and three RBI for the winners. Cunningham had two singles and Reardon a triple and an RBI for Heritage Builders.

In the second contest, Derek Kuhl pitched a one-hitter as Rotary Club downed Dan Hecht Chevrolet 11-2. Rotary Club held an 11-0 lead going into the sixth before Dan Hecht tallied its two runs.

Rotary had 11 hits led by Parker Wolfe with a single, double, triple and three RBI while Alex Baughman had the only other extra base hit in the game with a double. Elkin had the lone hit for Dan Hecht with a single and drove in two runs.

CAL RIPKEN LEAGUE

NAPA and Kemper CPA scored in double digits in downing their opponents in Cal Ripken League action at Community Park Monday.

NAPA defeated Schumacher Orthodontics 11-2 with a five-run third and a four-run fourth. Both teams had only two hits each.

NAPA was led by Dylan Busher who had both hits, a single, triple and an RBI. Nate Shackelford and Ben Donsbach had a single each for Schumacher. Shackelford drove in a run.

In the second contest, Kemper CPA handed Rhodes Chiropractic a 14-9 defeat behind 10 hits. Rhodes held a 2-1 lead after the first inning but Kemper took control with three in the second and third innings and finished with six runs in the fifth.

Dylan Guy, Luke Spencer and Nick Martelli had two singles each for the winners. Spencer drove in four runs while Guy had one RBI. Trenton Tuttle had two singles and drove in two runs for Rhodes while Brayden Poland had a triple and two RBI and Cole Marxman had a double and an RBI.

JUNIOR BABE RUTH LEAGUE

Washington Savings Bank and Midland States Bank both blanked their opponents in Junior League action Monday.

Washington Savings Bank broke a 0-0 tie with a run in the fourth and tacked on three more in the sixth for a 4-0 win over Trophies Unlimited. Austin Rexroad picked up the four-hit pitching win.

Rexroad led his team with two singles. Matt Weber led Trophies Unlimited with two singles and an RBI.

In the second game, Sehy & Jones committed nine errors helping Midland States Bank to a 19-0 win in six innings.

Midland States led 5-0 after four innings then tallied four in the fifth and 10 in the sixth. Midland had 10 hits in the contest led by Lane Koening with a single, two doubles and two RBI while Bryan Jansen had a triple and six RBI. Damon Potter contributed a single and double, Nick Grunloh two singles and three RBI and Zac Bateman a triple and two RBI. Jansen picked up the two-hit pitching win.
