The final distribution of the 2023 Effingham County real estate taxes and the mobile home taxes was made on Tuesday.
Effingham County Treasurer Deb Ruholl said the total amount of $1,491,479.80 was distributed by direct deposit to the taxing districts.
A taxing district may receive up to three distributions, if applicable, to their taxing district: real estate and mobile home taxes, interest, and Housing Authority.
