South Central captued fourth place at the Class 7-2A State Volleyball Tournament.

BRIMFIELD -- South Central Junior High School finished fourth at the Class 7-2A State Volleyball Tournament during the weekend.

In the first match, South Central won over Gardner, 25-18, 25-17.

Claire Chasteen led the winners in service points with nine. Ophelia Lowry had five aces.

In the second match, South Central fell to Mossville, 25-17, 25-9.

Lowry led in service points with seven.

South Central then played for third place and fell to Champaign St. Matthew, 25-22, 25-12.

Lowry and Rylan Williams had two points each. Lowry led in aces with three.

South Central -- Williams, 1 ace; Ruholl, 1 point, 3 aces; Chasteen, 9 points; Lowry, 1 point, 5 aces; Bolen, 5 points, 3 aces; Ruholl 5 points, 1 ace
