Weekend Volleyball Scores from the Area

South Central defeated Patoka on Friday.

The varsity won 25-19, 25-19; the JV won 25-20, 25-14; and the fresh/soph won 25-19, 25-14.

The South Central varsity improved to 6-1 (3-0 in the NTC); the JV improved to 6-1; and the fresh/soph is 3-1-1

Teutopolis finished 1-4 at the Crossroads Classic Tournament over the weekend.

Mahomet-Seymour won 16-25, 21-25; Breese Mater Dei won 7-25, 10-25; Teutopolis defeated Bloomington 25-23, 21-25, 15-12; Champaign Centennial 14-25, 21-25; and Hinsdale won 21-25, 12-25.

Teutopolis is now 8-7 on the season.

Windsor/Stew-Stras finished 2-3 in action in the Crossroads Classic over the weekend.

Champaign Centennial won 16-25, 25-11, 25-18; Tolono Unity won 26-24, 29-27; St. Francis won 26-24, 25-18; the Hatchets won over Belleville Althoff 25-9, 26-24; and the Hatchets won over Naperville Central 25-17, 25-21. 

Coach Ronda Schlechte said, "I am absolutely thrilled with our play this weekend, with the exception of Champaign Centennial. Fifth place in Silver Division is a huge accomplishment."

Windsor/Stew-Stras is now 6-3 on the season.
