South Central Picks Up Volleyball Victory

CENTRALIA -- South Central High School picked up a volleyball victory over Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran Wednesday.

The Cougars opened with a 25-16 first set win but CORL came back with a 26-24 victory. South Central then claimed the match, 25-19.

Halle Smith led the Cougars in kills with 14. Sydnee Garrett led in digs with 15. Zada Reynolds had 15 assists and Madyson Magnus 13. Sierra Arnold led the squad in aces with five.

South Central improved to 6-3 on the season.

In the junior varsity match, South Central picked up the victory, 25-10, 25-18 to improve to 5-4. The Cougars also claimed the freshman/sophomore match, 25-14, 25-22 and now stand at 5-2-1.

South Central isn't back in action until April 8 hosting Ramsey.
