Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg junior Becca Schlechte will continue her volleyball career after graduation at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.

The college is a Division I school and finished with a 21-9 record last season.

Schlechte, the daughter of WSS Coach Ronda Schlechte, decided to committ to IUPUI early after visiting the campus. She is a setter who earned National Trail Conference Second Team honors after suffering a concussion last fall during the volleyball season and had to miss several weeks. She has been a two-time First Team All-NTC player her first two years.

"I visited Eastern Illinois University and the University of Indianapolis but I just thought IUPUI fit me perfectly," said Schlechte. "I just felt it was time to make the final decision and not prolong the process."

Schlechte will study actuarial science.
