Teutopolis Claims Four Wins At LaSalle-Peru Tennis Quad, St. A Edges Mount Zion

Teutopolis swept through the LaSalle-Peru Tennis Quad with four victories Saturday.

The Wooden Shoes won over Paris by a 7-2 tally. Kolten Tabbert, Colin Habing, Oliver Lee, Will Lewis and Myles Stortzum captured singles victories. C. Habing-Josh Habing won at No. 1 doubles while Lee and Noah Thompson were the No. 2 doubles winners.

T-town then blanked Illinois Math and Science Academy, 5-0.

Tabbert won at the top singles spot while Lewis went 5-7, 7-6 (5), 10-6 in a hard-fought battle to claim No. 2

C. Habing and J. Habing took the No. 1 doubles spot while Lee and Thompson won at No. 2 and Davidson and Stortzum were the No. 3 winners.

The Wooden Shoes picked up its second 5-0 victory against LaSalle-Peru.

Tabbert took his third victory in singles play while Stortzum won his second contest.

C. Habing and J. Habing captured the third victory at No. 1 doubles. Lee and Thompson were also winners for the third straight time and Davidson and Lewis combined to win at No. 3.

T-town finished out by blanking Dixon, 5-0 as C. Habing and J. Habing won in singles and Lee-Thompson, Tabbert and Stortzum and Davidson-Lewis swept through doubles action.

At Effingham

Effingham St. Anthony split the singles match victories with Mount Zion then took two of the three doubles wins for a 5-4 victory over the Braves Friday.

Manaye Mossman, Colin Westendorf and Jackson Schultz picked up the singles victories. Mossman won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 while Westendorf took the No. 3 spot. He lost the opener 6-3 but came back with 7-5, 11-9 tallies for the win. Schultz downed his opponent at No. 6, 6-1, 6-1.

In doubles play, M. Mossman combined with Evan Mossman to take the top spot, 6-1, 1-6, 10-8 and Charlie Wegman and Alec Hakman were winners at No. 3, 6-4, 6-3.
