Bulldog Players Fourth At Centennial Tennis Tourney

St. Anthony had players finish in fourth place at the meet.

Liv Hoene took fourth at the No. 2 singles spot. Hoene blanked Nourreen Ismail (Urbana), 6-0, 6-0 then won over Abbie Lee of Teutopolis 6-4, 2-6, 11-9. She then fell to Maya Bermen (Dunlap) 6-2, 6-1 and Reese Rundle (Danville), 6-1, 6-1 to finish fourth.

In the No. 1 doubles, Mia Kinkelaar and Ellie Link combined to take fourth. The duo won over Goins-Sattler of Hinsdale South, 6-0, 6-0 then defeated Morgon-Mazabe (Wheaton Warren South), 6-0, 6-0. The pair then fell to Dei-Stuentug (Belleville East), 6-1, 0-6, 10-8 and lost to Hemmen-Probst of Teutopolis, 6-4, 7-5.

In No. 1 singles, Emily Kolwalke won over Morgan Seagle (Belleville W), 6-2, 6-0 then fell to Anna Houpt (Danville), 3-6, 6-3, 1-12 and to Maricianna O'Gormen , 4-6, 6-1, 10-3.
