Effingham St. Anthony tallied a 7-2 victory over Paris in boys tennis action Tuesday.

The Bulldogs picked up five of the six singles wins. Manaye Mossman won at the top spot by a 6-1, 6-1 count. Aiden Tegeler blanked his opponent, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2. Evan Mossman was a 4-6, 6-0, 10-7 winner at No. 3. Adam Rudibaugh captured No. 4, 6-1, 6-1. Connor Eggars had a hard-fought victory at No. 5, 7-5, 4-6, 10-5.

In doubles play, M. Mossman and Tegeler were 6-0, 6-1 winners at the top spot. E. Mossman and Rudibaugh combined to win 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2.

Effingham ran into a tough Richland County (Olney) squad and fell 9-0 Tuesday.

Olney swept through singles play with the closest match at No. 1 as Evan Uhl won over Thad Dillow, 6-2, 3-6, 10-3.
