Shoes Beat Hearts, Bulldogs Win In Tennis

Ethan Thoele was a winner at the No. 2 singles spot for the Shoes, 3-6, 7-5, 10-4. Josh Habing won at No. 3, 7-5, 6-2 while Colin Habing took No. 4, 6-1, 6-0. The two Habings combined to win at No. 2 doubles, 6-3, 6-2.

Carter Davidson was a winner at No. 5 singles, 6-3, 6-1 and Hayden Jansen took the No. 6 spot, 6-4, 6-3.

Davidson combined with Oliver Lee for the No. 3 doubles victory, 6-0, 6-2.

The two points for the Hearts came at No. 1 singles as Thad Dillow won 6-1, 6-1. Dillow then partnered with Blayne Pals at No. 1 doubles and won, 7-5, 4-6, 10-8.

At Effingham

At Highland

Effingham St. Anthony picked up a victory over Highland, 6-3 in Tuesday competition.

The Bulldogs picked up the four top singles victories. Manaye Mossman was a 6-3, 6-1 winner while Evan Mossman lost the opening set 6-1 but came back to win 6-3, 10-6. Aidan Tegeler won 6-2, 5-7, 10-4 at No. 3 and Henry Kemme took the No. 4 spot, 6-0 ,6-3.

In doubles, the Bulldogs won the top two spots. Tegeler and Kemme combined for a 9-7 victory. M. Mossman and E. Mossman won 8-1.

The Bulldogs also claimed a junior varsity match, 2-1.

At Highland
