T-town Finishes Seventh At Triad Tennis Tourney

TROY -- Teutopolis High School finished seventh at the Troy Triad Tennis Tournament Saturday.

In the first round against Jerseyville, T-town fell 3-2.

Colin Habing and Josh Habing claimed the No. 2 doubles with an 8-4 win while Daniel Lee and Oliver Lee won at No. 3 doubles, 8-2.

In the second match, Alton Marquette was a winner 3-2.

D. Lee captured the No. 2 singles spot, 10-3.

The Wooden Shoes claimed a forfeit win at No. 3 doubles.

The third match went to Teutopolis over Bloomington, 3-2.

T-town's Gus Siemer claimed the No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-0.

The Shoes' Ethan Thoele and Colin Habing claimed the No. 2 doubles, 6-3, 6-3 and the Shoes won at No. 3 doubles, as Paul Niemerg and Carter Davidson combined to blank their opponents, 6-0, 6-0.
