Former Area Tennis Players To Compete In Nationals

These four tennis athletes have continued their tennis playing days after competing in high school and college.

Hannah (Esker) Meece, Hayden Esker and Cole Buhnerkemper were multi-year sectional champions for Effingham St. Anthony. All three were All-State tennis players in high school.

Liz Esker is married to Hayden Esker and the four members of the team are a mixed doubles team from Bloomington. They won the sectional championships in Fort Wayne, Indiana and will now play Nationals in Arizona November 5, 6 and 7.
