St. Anthony Hands Robinson Tennis Loss

The Bulldogs claimed five of the six singles matches. Emily Kowalke lost the opening set 6-1 but came back with 6-2, 6-4 scores for the match at No. 1.

Laura Schmidt claimed a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 2. Grace Karolewicz had a tough battle at No. 3 and came out the winner. Robinson's Zharnia Stephens won the opener 7-5 but Karolewicz battled back to take the next set 7-6 (5) then won the match 10-3.

Madelyn Brown took an easy victory at No. 5, 6-1, 6-2.

Karlia Jones then hung tough for the victory at No. 6. Anna Hargrave won 6-2 in the opener. Jones came back with 7-5, 7-6 (5) scores to pull out the victory.

In doubles play, Karolewicz and Elizabeth Kabbes took the No. 2 match, 6-4, 6-3. Then at No. 3, the Bulldogs' Brown and Izzy Hakman lost the opener 6-2 but got tough and won the match, 7-5, 7-5.
