Top-seeded Novak Djokovic won his first-round match at the French Open on Tuesday, getting a straight-set victory over 80th-ranked Mikael Ymer.

It was the first Grand Slam match for Djokovic since he was disqualified from the U.S. Open earlier this month when a ball he angrily smacked accidentally hit a line judge in the throat.

Other winners Tuesday included Stefanos Tsitsipas, Karolina Pliskova and Americans Sofia Kenin and Sloane Stephens.
