The French Open, one of tennis’ four major tournaments, is being postponed because of the coronavirus, moving from May to September. The French tennis federation said Tuesday that it was a “difficult yet brave decision in this unprecedented situation.” The new dates put it just one week after another major, the U.S. Open is scheduled to be held in New York.
