Effingham High School celebrates a tennis victory Thursday over Salem.

Effingham High School blanked Salem in tennis action Thursday, 9-0.

The Hearts swept through the singles matches as Ben Donsbach won at No. 1, 6-1, 7-6(5); Parker Siner claimed the No. 2 spot, 6-1, 6-1; Nate Linders downed his opponent, 6-1, 6-0; Brennan Barr won 6-0, 6-1; Cole Stanfield blanked his opponent, 6-0, 6-0 and Colby Heaton was a 6-0, 6-2 winner.

In doubles play, Donsbach and Siner picked up the No. 1 victory, 6-1, 6-2; Linders-Barr won at No. 2, 6-0, 6-0 and Stanfield-Heaton took the third spot, 6-1, 6-1.
