Pinckneyville Hands T-town Softball Loss

Teutopolis fell to Pinckneyville in high school softball competition Friday.

Pinckneyville stepped out to a 4-0 first inning lead but the Wooden Shoes fought back and knotted the score at 4-4 in the second. Pinckneyville moved ahead 7-5 in the fourth then had five-run innings in the fifth and sixth and finished out with one in the seventh for an 18-10 victory.

T-town finished with 10 hits in the contest led by Tia Probst with a double, home run and four RBI, Erin Althoff with two doubles, Daischa Piedra with two singles, a double and an RBI, Kaylee Niebrugge with a single, double and an RBI and Anna Buehnerkempe with a double and an RBI.
