T-town Blanks Dieterich In Softball

The Wooden Shoes stepped out to a 5-0 opening inning lead then scored single runs in the third and fourth and three in the fifth to end the game via the 10-run rule.

Lexie Niebrugge had a single and a solo home run for the Shoes while Mallory Stone had a home run and two RBI, Kaylee Niebrugge a triple and an RBI and Emily Konkel and Anna Buhnerkempe two singles each. Buhnerkempe drove in a run.

Dieterich had two hits, singles by Madilyn Brummer and Megan Bierman.

Tia Probst was the winning pitcher, going two innings, allowing one hit while striking out five.
