ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- For the second time in three years Bradley Softball had a pair of First-Team All-Missouri Valley Conference honorees with sophomore Stacia Seeton and junior Kealia Wysocki earning the distinction and the Braves had four individuals recognized on All-Valley teams according to an announcement by the league office Wednesday morning.

Seeton and Wysocki both earned First-Team All-MVC honors for the first time in their careers after previously garnering second-team all-league honors.  In addition, junior Allison Apke (Teutopolis) was named a Second-Team All-Valley selection, while senior Katie Habryle earned a spot on the MVC All-Defensive team.  The trio of Apke, Seeton and Wysocki have each hit 12 or more homers to give Bradley just the third trio in Valley history with 12 or more homers and one of just seven in the nation in 2019.

Bradley, which posted its best conference finish since 2014 with a fourth-place showing and matched a school record with 15 league victories, boasted a pair of first-team all-conference honorees for the ninth time in program history and fourth under 11th-year head coach Amy Hayes.  The Braves enter this week's MVC Tournament with 28 wins for their most since 2004 (29).

A second-team all-conference pick as a sophomore last year, Seeton hit .357 in conference games and drove in a team-high 26 runs.  Overall, her team-best 42 RBI are tied for the fourth-best season total in Bradley history, while her 38 runs are tied for ninth.  Seeton slugged seven of her 12 home runs on the season during Valley action and her season total is tied for second among Bradley season marks.

A .357 hitter with runners in scoring position, Seeton collected 14 two-out RBI and has scored or driven in a team-high 24 percent of Bradley's runs this season.  She is the first Bradley player to earn all-conference honors as both a freshman and sophomore since Maria Schroeder and Erika Hansen both did in 2015 & 2016.  Seeton is already third in Bradley history with 21 career homers, while her 71 career RBI are the most by a Bradley player prior to their junior year.

Wysocki belted a school season record 13 home runs and is hitting .349 on the year to go with 38 RBI.  Her .802 slugging percentage this season, which ranks 28th in the nation, would be a Bradley season record.  The two-time MVC Player of the Week selection was a Second-Team All-Valley pick as a freshman in 2016.

Hitting .433 with runners in scoring position, Wysocki owns a team-best 26 two-out RBI and owns a .405 batting average with two outs.  She helped Bradley tie the MVC single-game home run record of eight with the only three homer game in program history in a victory against San Jose State.  Wysocki is second in career home runs at Bradley with 26 and is the only player in program history to hit six or more homers in three different seasons.

Apke takes home second-team all-conference honors after she was a First-Team All-Valley performer in 2018.  Bradley's top hitter with a .358 average on the season, she was even better in Valley games where she hit .377 and drove in 24 runs.  Apke had a hit in 20 of 25 conference games and reached base safely in all but two league contests.  Bradley's career home run leader, she matched her season total of 12 homers from last year which is second among BU season totals.

A .435 hitter with runners on base, Apke owns a .400 average with runners in scoring position.  She has driven in 38 runs this spring and has climbed into eighth in the career RBI at Bradley with 92.  Apke had a pair of hit streaks of nine or more games in 2019 and had a career-best streak of 21 consecutive games in which she reached base safely.

Selected to the MVC All-Defensive Team, Habryle owns a team-best .989 fielding percentage.  She has started 29 games at catcher, helping Bradley to a 17-12 record in those contests.  The senior has career highs for hits, runs, doubles, homers and RBI this spring, slugging four of her career-best five homers in conference play.  Habryle has thrown out a team-best nine batters.

Habryle is the most experienced player on the Bradley roster, appearing in 160 games during her time on The Hilltop and is tied for ninth in Bradley history with 14 career home runs.

Bradley will serve as host of the 2019 MVC Softball Championship, which starts this afternoon and concludes Saturday at Petersen Hotels Field at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex.  While the tournament gets underway at 4 p.m. today with #8 Loyola taking on #9 Indiana State, the Braves won't play until Thursday at 4 p.m. against the winner of a Thursday morning contest between #5 Missouri State and the Loyola/Indiana State game winner.
