Here are the scores from Tuesday softball action:

St. Anthony 17, Newton 8 (Makayla Walsh got the win in relief of Jenna Woltman; Walsh and Hunter Niebrugge each homered; Walsh had three hits and drove in six runs; Woltman had two hits and drove in four runs; Maddie Schuette and Paige Koester each had two hits; Niebrugge also singled; Kate Richards, Kendra Schuete, Allison Spraul and Morgan Gardewine each had a hit and Gardewine drove in two runs; McCoy took the loss for Newton)

Teutopolis 8, Greenville 3 (Madison Cowman went five innings for the win with Kadi Borries finishing up; Cowman, Anni Borries and Danielle Repking each had three hits; Wermert and Drees with two hits each; hits also for Wente, Gebben and Apke; Teutopolis remains unbeaten at 13-0 this spring; Teutopolis won the JV game 8-0)

Altamont 4, Vandalia 0 (Deidre Ledbetter got the win, allowing just one hit and no walks while striking out 11; at the plate, Lauren White had two hits and drove in a run, and Madison Ohnesorge, Ledbetter, and Alex Teasley each had a hit)

Beecher City 14, Christ Our Rock Lutheran 4 (it's the first win of the spring for Beecher City; Kaci Hilt got the win and had four hits, three hits for Amanda Pierce, two hits each for Timber Gates, Kirby Herrmann and Heather Reed, hits also for Bella Doty and Billie Kollman)

St. Elmo/Brownstown 12, South Central 0 (Baylee Scholes with the win, allowing just two hits; Abby King took the loss; Moss had three hits for SEB, now 7-7 on the spring)
