T-town Beats Mattoon, Altamont Ties Olney

Teutopolis defeated Mattoon 2-1 in soccer action Monday.

Goals were scored by Gavin Tegeler and Nolan Runde with an assist by Ethan Thoele.

The Shoes improved to 6-0-1 on the season and are back in action hosting Altamont today at 6 p.m.

At Olney

Altamont and Olney played to a 1-1 tie Saturday.

The goal for the Indians was by Javian Kingston. Kingston was assisted by Josh Overton. Kingston also had an assist and a shot.

Overton had four steals while Jack Lowry led in steals with seven and Garrett Schultz had six. Max Runge added five. Overton had nine saves.
