Bruins Edge Pens In Double-OT For 3-0 Series Lead
(Boston, MA) -- Patrice Bergeron scored the game-winning goal with 4:41 left in the second overtime, as the Bruins took a commanding lead on the Penguins with a 2-1 win. David Krejci scored in the first period for the B's, who lead the best-of-seven set 3-0. Bergeron says they showed up in the overtimes after struggling in regulation.
The Bruins can close out the series in Game Four on Friday in Boston. Tuukka Rask made 53 saves in the victory. Chris Kunitz scored the lone goal for the Pens. Tomas Vokoun allowed both goals on 40 shots in defeat.
NHL Suspends Blackhawks' Keith One Game
(New York, NY) -- The NHL has suspended Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith one game for his actions in Tuesday's Game Three. He was given a double-minor for high sticking in the second period of Chicago's 3-1 loss in Los Angeles after delivering a one-handed slash to the face of Kings forward Jeff Carter. The Blackhawks are in Los Angeles tonight facing the Kings in Game Four of the Western finals. Chicago is up 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.
