Bruins Cruise Past Pens To 2-0 Series Lead
(Pittsburgh, PA) -- Brad Marchand scored twice in the first period as the Bruins rolled to a 6-1 victory over the Penguins in Game Two of the Eastern Conference final. Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara says everything seems to be working for them.
Nathan Horton and David Krejci also scored in the first for Boston, which grabs a commanding 2-0 series lead as it heads back home. Patrice Bergeron and Johnny Boychuk found the back of the net for the Bruins while Tuukka Rask stopped 26 shots in the win. Tomas Vokoun was chased from Pittsburgh's net after allowing three goals on 12 shots. Marc-Andre Fleury replaced him and made 14 saves on 17 shots for the Pens. Brandon Sutter had the lone tally for top-seeded Pittsburgh, which will be on the road for Game Three Wednesday.
