EPD Baseball, Softball Registration Underway

Now is the time to register for Effingham Park District summer baseball and softball.

The leagues with a March 1 registration deadline are: Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League for second and third grade boys, Little League for fourth and fifth grade boys; MInor League for second and third grade girls and Prep League for fourth and fifth grade girls.

Older youth leagues with an April 14 deadline are Boys Prep League for sixth and seventh graders, Junior Babe Ruth League for eighth grade, freshmen and sophomores, Girls Junior League for sixth and seventh graders and Girls Senior League for eighth grade, freshmen, sophomores and juniors.

Cost for the leagues is $40 for residents and $70 for non-residents.

The younger leagues with an April 14 deadline are Boys Small Fry for kindergarten and first grade, Girls Small Fry for kindergarten and first grade and T-Ball for four- and five-year-old boys and girls.

The cost to play in the younger leagues is $30 for residents and $60 for non-residents.

Use the grade the child is currently in when completing registration
