Effingham High School Fall Sports Award Winners

Effingham High School athletes in the sports of boys and girls golf, girls tennis, boys and girls cross country, soccer, swimming and volleyball were honored at the EHS Fall Sports Banquet Monday evening.

 

Effingham High School girls golf  award winners were, left to right, Marah Kirk, Ella Niebrugge and Elena Niebrugge.

Awards in girls golf went to Marah Kirk (Player of the Year), Ella Niebrugge (Sportsmanship) and Elena Niebrugge (Most Improved).

Letterwinners were Marak Kirk, Anna Hirtzel, Ella Niebrugge, Marissa Allie, Emilie Vincent, Elena Niebrugge and Ella Tuman.

Effingham High School boys golf award winners were, left to right, Evan Pryor and Brody Boehm (not pictured were Colby Haynes and David Splechter).

Boys golf awards went to Colby Haynes (Most Valuable Player), David Splechter (Most Improved Player), Evan Pryor (Most Improved Player) and Brody Boehm (Best Underclassman).

Lettermen were Colby Haynes, David Splechter, KC Kuhlman, Evan Pryor, Blayne Pals, Rayden Schneider, Brody Boehm, Cannon Bockhorn and Kaden Field.

Effingham High School tennis award winners were, left to right, Kaitlyn Parker, Charly Kreke, Aila Woomer, Izzy Volpi and Madison Mapes (not pictured was Susie Holley).

Girls tennis awards were presented to Kaitlyn Parker (Most Valuable Singles Player), Izzy Volpi (Most Valuable Doubles Player), Aila Woomer (Most Valuable Doubles Player, Flaming Heart award), Charly Kreke (Most Improved Player), Susie Holley (Spirit award) and Madison Mapes (Holly Nosbisch Sportsmanship award).

Letterwinners were Addy Hagy, Gracie Kroenlein, Madison Mapes, Kaitlyn Parker, Ella Seaman, Aila Woomer, Susie Holley, Khushi Patel, Izzy Volpi, Charly Kreke, Scarlette Sorling and Kristen Armstrong.

Effingham High School girls/boys cross country award winners were, left to right, Audrey Wagoner, Gracie Eaton, Laney Myers, Jessica Larsen, Ino Mapes, Garrett Wagoner, Aaron Hill, Andrew Donaldson and Adam Flack.

Boys cross country awards went to Aaron Hill (Most Improved), Garrett Wagoner (Most Valuable Runner), Andrew Donaldson (Most Valuable Runner), Ino Mapes (Spirit award) and Adam Flack (HEARTS award).

Lettermen were Andrew Donaldson, Garrett Wagoner, Alex Gordon, Adam Flack and Aaron Hill.

Girls cross country awards were presented to Laney Myers (Most Improved), Jessica Larsen (Most Valuable Runner), Gracie Eaton (Spirit award) and Audrey Wagoner (HEARTS award).

Letterwinners were Jessica Larsen, Baylee Summers, Haddie Hill, Morgan Springer and Audrey Wagoner.

Effingham High School soccer award winners were, left to right, Sam Spicer, Roy Arellano, Camilo Aden, Maicol Sefton, Aiden Hanks, Gabe Koester and Ina Mapes.

Receiving awards for soccer were Gabe Koester (Defensive), Maicol Sefton (Offensive, Most Valuable Underclassman), Ina Mapes (Most Improved), Roy Arellano (Most Valuable Player), Aiden Hanks (Heart of the Team), Camilo Aden (Underclassman Offensive) and Sam Spicer (Underclassmen Defensive).

Soccer letters went to Andrew Wagoner, Marc Asejo, Gabe Koester, Aiden Hanks, Ina Mapes, Kendrick Nantes, Menphis Leasher, Gage Orth, Sam Spicer, Camilo Aden, Maicol Sefton, Xander Marler, Daniel Angel, Curran Boggs and Roy Arellano.

Effingham High School varsity volleyball award winners were, left to right, Riley Cunningham, Raegan Boone, Hannah Thompson, Saige Althoff, Ali Davis and Bria Beals.

Varsity volleyball awards were presented to Bria Beals (Hitting, Defensive, Serving), Raegan Boone (Most Blocks), Ali Davis (Blocking), Hannah Thompson (Most Assists, HEART award), Riley Cunningham (Captain) and Saige Althoff (Hustle).

Letterwinners were Alyssa Martin, Berkley Pullen, Saige Althoff, Sidney Donaldson, Mya Harvey, Reaghan DeLong, Bria Beals, Hannah Thompson, Olivia Katt, Raegan Boone, Kaitlyn Budde, Angela Ballman, Ali Davis, Riley Cunningham and Abby Cunningham).

Effingham High School freshman-sophomore/junior varsity award winners were, left to right, Korina Hecht, Jerzi Bierman, Reaghan DeLong, Berkley Pullen and Alyssa Martin (not pictured was Mallory Dixon).

Junior varsity volleyball awards went to Alyssa Martin (Hitting), Berkley Pullen (Setting), Jerzi Bierman (Hustle) and Reaghan DeLong (Most Improved).

Freshman/sophomore awards went to Mallory Dixon (Most Improved) and Korina Hecht (Hustle).

Members of the Effingham girls swimming team were Julia Kinder, Elizabeth Hirtzel and Elle Hohenbary.
