Newton Sports Physicals Scheduled

Sports physicals for any sophomore, junior or senior at Newton High School who wants to play sports this year needs to have documentation of a sports physical exam on file in the NHS office before he or she can practice by August 9.

For fall sports, the physicals are scheduled Tuesday, June 22 and Wednesday, July 28. Sarah Bush Lincoln, in Newton, is offering these exams. SBL Newton Clinic is in a new location at 807 W. Jourdan Street. Both days schedules are from 1 to 6 p.m.

Cost is $20 and the money will be donated to the Newton Athletic Booster Club or St. Thomas School. Cash or check only will be accepted. Make checks payable to Sarah Bush Lincoln. Insurance will not be billed nor will insurance co-pays be collected. Parent must sign medical history form or be in attendance.
