U.S. distance runner Shelby Houlihan, the current national champion and record holder in the 1,500-meter and 5,000-meter distances, has been banned for four years after testing positive for an anabolic steroid.

The 28-year-old, who was considered a favorite to contend for a medal at the Tokyo Olympics next month, blamed pork in a burrito. She wrote on Instagram Monday that the most likely explanation was a “burrito purchased and consumed approximately 10 hours before that drug test from an authentic Mexican food truck.”
