T-town Trio Claims 20th At State Bass Fishing Tournament

Teutopolis High School's Hunter Sandschafer, Ethan Thoele and Collin Probst finished 20th out of 75 teams in the Bass Fishing State Tournament during the weekend at Carlyle Lake.

The three-some finished with three fish weighing 5 pounds 1/16 ounce in Friday's competition and two fish weighing 2 pounds, 8/16 ounces Saturday for a total of 5 fish weighing 7 pounds, 9/16 ounces.

Winning the state tournament was Bennett Glessner, Dustin Goderis and Elijah Medina from Moline with a total of 10 fish weighing 20 pounds, 3/16 ounces.

Big Bass went to Kye Garver of Christopher on Friday weighing 5 pounds 1/16 ounce and Gunner Kibort of Bradley-Bourgonnais on Saturday weighing 6 pounds 3/16 ounce.
