EHS Wins, Loses in Wrestling Thursday

Effingham High School's wrestling squad lost to Lincoln Thursday, but defeated Charleston in action at Charleston.

Effingham beat Charleston 60-6. 

Effingham got wins from Erika White by forfeit at 120 pounds, from Wyatte Haycraft by forfeit at 132 pounds, from Robert Reardon by forfeit at 138 pounds, from Erik Sills by forfeit at 145 pounds, from Jon Perry by a pin at 152 pounds at 3:59, from Edgar Castillo by forfeit at 160 pounds, from Zac Slifer by pin over Adams at 170 pounds at 1:29, from Wyatt Sparks by forfeit at 182 pounds, from Brodye Miller by forfeit at 195 pounds, and from Chase Kiefer by forfeit at 220 pounds. Erika White won an exhibition match over Bryant 23-6

The loss to Lincoln was 51-12.

Effingham got a win from Jon Perry at 152 pounds over Laubenstein by pin at 0:15, and a win from Zac Slifer at 170 pounds over Sunden by pin at 3:04.
