Another Successful Indiana Trip for Effingham Area Disc Golfers

Effingham area disc golfers are enjoying Indiana.

The group headed to Sullivan, Indiana Saturday for the Sullivan Slushfest.

Mark Jones won his third tournament in as many weeks, taking top honors in the Advanced Division with a -16 score, including -10 in the second round. This tournament involved two 18-hole rounds. Jones picked up an ace, his third in the past two weeks.

Also in the Advanced Division, Andy Burgholzer took seventh place with a +6 total, +2 for the second round.

In the Intermediate Division, Hadley Majors lost in a playoff, tying in regulation at +1, playing the first round in even par. 

In the Recreational Division, Bob Feldhake tied for second, finishing at +8, going +3 in the second round. Ben Keller tied for fourth place honors with a +16 total, including +7 in the first round. Zeb Berry tied for sixth place with a +17 total, but +6 in the second round. Paul Jones finished 10th at +30, +12 for his first round.

Kyle Miller of Stewardson finished third in the Novice Division with +33, +13 in the first round.
