EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE Athletics has made the decision to postpone the Red & Black Benefit until the Fall of 2021. The original plan called for the Benefit to be held in the fall or spring of 2021. Out of safety and health protocols, the decision to postpone the event until late next year appeared to be the best course of action.

Those who have already purchased tickets can be assured those tickets will be honored for the new date in 2021. Those unable to attend, but have already purchased a ticket, may contact Laura Smith at lsmitae@siue.edu to discuss options including donation of the ticket or a full refund.
In light of the postponement of the Red & Black Benefit SIUE Athletics is hosting a new online silent auction - Bid Your Mask Off - on Givesmart.com.

The silent auction will begin on Black Friday (November 27th) and run until December 12th at 9 p.m. CST. Everyone is welcome to join and bid! As always, all of the proceeds will go directly benefit to the student-athlete experience and wellness at SIUE. It is the perfect time to find that holiday gift while still supporting SIUE Cougar Athletics.
